A convicted sex offender who has recently been released from prison is now residing in Yuma. David Robert Ware is now living at 2655 Los Amigos Drive.
Ware, 42, is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, 200 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He is not wanted by Yuma police.
In April of 2007, Ware was convicted of two counts of sexual conduct with a minor in Yuma County Superior Court. Ware plead guilty to the charges in a plea agreement and was sentenced to five years in prison and lifetime intensive probation.
A police investigation revealed that Ware had sexual contact with a 15-year-old victim whom he knew. Ware is considered is a level 2 sex offender with a medium risk to re-offend.
Flyers are also being distributed to Ware’s immediate neighborhood.
Offenders are categorized in three levels: Level 1 is a low risk to reoffend, Level 2 an intermediate risk and Level 3 a high risk.
